Showcasing three CCI Funded Collaborative Projects – overview of results, lessons learnt & the opportunities & challenges of working collaboratively

The three talks will give an overview of the goals of the project, results and outputs resulting from them. The focus of the talks will be about what aspects of the project worked, what did not and the lessons learnt and challenges faced while working collaboratively across multiple Institutions and disciplines. There will be time for questions after each talk.

Project 1: A framework for assessing livelihood impacts of forest conservation programmes – Andreas Kontoleon: Department of Land Economy

Project 2: Measuring and monitoring ecosystem services at the site scale: building practical tools for real-world conservation – Kelvin Peh: Department of Zoology & University of Southampton

Project 3: Links in biodiversity conservation, ecosystem services and climate change: teaching material and building capacity – Kiragu Mwangi: BirdLife International
