The Collaborative Fund

Are you ready to help drive transformative change in global biodiversity conservation?

We invite funders to support ambitious, collaborative projects that bring together research and analysis with conservation practice, policy, and capacity building—turning knowledge into meaningful, lasting impact.

Through the Collaborative Fund, we catalyse partnerships of three or more CCI partners to tackle the world’s most pressing biodiversity conservation challenges. By fostering collaboration across disciplines and organisations, the fund enables innovative solutions that no single partner could achieve alone.

The Arts, Science and Conservation Programme

Are you inspired to unlock new ways of connecting people with the natural world?

By supporting the Arts, Science and Conservation Programme, funders enable powerful collaborations that bring together artists and scientists to reimagine how conservation is understood, experienced, and communicated. Artists—whether musicians, poets, painters, or dancers—offer fresh ways of seeing, listening to, and engaging with science. Their work creates meaningful, memorable encounters with nature, and has a unique ability to transform how conservation is portrayed and practised.

Collaboration with artists lies at the heart of CCI’s vision. Since moving into the David Attenborough Building, these partnerships have flourished—bringing poets, painters, printmakers, photographers, and more into close dialogue with the CCI network. Together, they create new works and exhibitions that not only inspire audiences but actively shape and influence the development of conservation practice.

Through your support, these creative collaborations can continue to spark new perspectives, deepen engagement, and drive innovative approaches to some of the most urgent environmental challenges of our time.
