Join our experts for a rare chance to take part in one of our Garden citizen science projects Although nocturnal and often thought of as drab, moths come in an amazing diversity of colours, shapes and sizes, some even more beautiful than butterflies. They also have a number of ecological benefits, including pollinating our plants, and providing food for birds and bats and other wildlife. Our gardens can provide a safe haven for these fascinating creatures, come and learn which species could occur in your garden, by taking part in an early morning citizen science activity at the Botanic Garden. Learn to identify and record moths attracted to a special trap and help us release them back into the Garden to celebrate #Earth Optimism. Suitable for adults and accompanied children aged 12+
