Earth Optimism 2020

25th April 2020

Earth Optimism is a growing worldwide movement that is shifting how we frame the environmental narrative: from doom and gloom to solutions and success. It has emerged from two key realisations: that fear and frustration without hope leads to apathy rather than action and that conservation successes are numerous yet fairly unknown. Through a global celebration, Earth Optimism brings people together to share what’s working in conservation and to exchange ideas about how we can make sustainable choices every day.

The Cambridge Conservation Initiative (CCI)– is hosting Earth Optimism on 25 April 2020 in Cambridge, UK. Sir David Attenborough will be welcoming 2,000 members of the public to this extraordinary day. Earth Optimism Cambridge was first hosted in 2017 and was a great success. Once again, we will be hosting a Stories of Hope programme of talks and a Solutions Fair – an exhibition of partner organisations showcasing ideas about how we can scale our individual choices to generate collective impact for biodiversity and our shared planet.

All welcome – we would love to see you there!
