CANCELLED: Cambridge Literary Festival: The Great Flood with Edward Platt

19th April 2020

CCI are partnering with the Literary Festival for a weekend of events highlighting climate and biodiversity.

During the winter of 2013-14, the UK experienced some of the most severe flooding ever recorded. Join award-winning writer Edward Platt to discuss his travels through marsh and fen, town and village, documenting the destruction that the waters caused, speaking to those most directly and painfully affected. As such extreme weather events become increasingly likely, these dispatches from the front-line mark a piece of reportage that we ignore at our peril.
