Background

I am Director of the University of Cambridge Conservation Research Institute and Head of the Forest Ecology and Conservation Group in the Department of Plant Sciences. My research aim is to gain a greater understanding of the ways that forests are changing, and the reasons for those changes. Increasingly we are using remote sensing technologies to monitor change.
