Ormon is a conservationist working in Kyrgyzstan. He specialises in forestry and pasture management, international wildlife trade, and ecology. He is currently working on various FFI projects to conserve threatened and endangered plant and animal species across Central Asia. His areas of expertise include forest restoration, forest population genetics, and pasture management techniques. He works closely with a number of scientists across Central Asia, most frequently with the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic. He also works with several environmental NGO’s and governmental organizations in Kyrgyzstan.
