Background

Martin has more than 25 years of conservation leadership.  In November 2023, Martin he was appointed CEO of BirdLife International.  He joined BirdLife in 2021 as Regional Director for Europe and Central Asia. Previous experience includes being Conservation Director at both the RSPB and Plantlife International.
