Background

As part of the Conservation Science and Design team at FFI I provide technical support to the marine team on areas such as fisheries, marine plastics, climate change and movements against deep-sea mining. My work also includes aspects of programme design, monitoring and evaluation, and donor and fund management. Prior to FFI, I supported the Executive Director’s Office here at the CCI! I have also previously worked for marine initiatives; internationally as a development officer for marine NGO in Belize, and closer to home as a marine advisor for Natural England in the south of the UK. I have a Master’s Degree in Conservation Science and Policy from the University of Exeter and am interested in the interplay between science, policy and conservation practice.
