I am responsible for fundraising for CCI collaborative projects, research and educational programmes as part of the University’s commitment to CCI.
I trained as a dancer, and conceived, directed, produced and toured my own theatre and dance work nationally and internationally over the course of ten years. Returning to education, I read English at Lucy Cavendish College as a mature student. After graduating in 2012, I was the Widening Participation and Access ambassador for the mature colleges, alongside working as a fundraiser for a music charity. In 2015, I joined the Development team at Fitzwilliam College as their Deputy Director, leading on Trusts & Foundations fundraising.
I spent every childhood summer holiday in a cottage on the shores of Loch Torridon. Now I go there with my own children: the mountains are eroded, there are fewer birds, far fewer mackerel, reforestation efforts are consistently undermined by deer, and everyone else in the village is over 70, or also on holiday. I want to help change that, and bring back the wildernesses of our planet for the next generation.
