Background

Steve leads the Marine Programme in its work to support the integration of biodiversity considerations into marine policy and practice. To achieve this, the Marine Programme focuses on developing and maintaining global marine biodiversity datasets and supports enhanced marine policy-making and decision-processes through testing new approaches, sharing effective practices, and capacity building.
