Fauna & Flora International (FFI) protects threatened species and ecosystems worldwide, choosing solutions that are sustainable, based on sound science and that take account of human needs.

Operating in more than 40 countries, FFI saves species from extinction and habitats from destruction, while improving the livelihoods of local people. Founded in 1903, FFI is the world’s longest established international conservation body and a registered charity.

Our mission is to conserve threatened species and ecosystems worldwide, choosing solutions that are sustainable, based on sound science, and which take into account human needs.

Get closer to conservation – Support FFI’s work to safeguard the world’s threatened species and habitats.

“FFI is a founding member of CCI and we are proud of its vision, ambitions and achievements to date, combining the benefits of our collaborative campus at the David Attenborough Building in Cambridge with the global footprint of scientific research, cutting-edge policy and grass-roots practice of CCI members. We believe that this strategic collaboration between Cambridge University and international NGOs will make a significant contribution to addressing the triple challenge of biodiversity loss, climate change and human well-being globally.” Joanna Elliott, Senior Director, Conservation Partnerships, FFI
